Why Alzheimer’s Research and Clinical Trials are Important

Today the medical treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and related memory disorders offer some relief but no cure. That is why research is so crucial. By participating in one of Miami Jewish Health Systems clinical trials, you are joining thousands of dedicated individuals willing to help our medical staff learn more about the disease. From finding ways to determine early detection and slow the advancement of the disease, to ultimately finding a cure, participants and their caregivers are essential pieces to this groundbreaking research. All clinical research trials use state-of-the art approaches based on the latest theories. Miami Jewish Health Systems will cover all clinical trial costs, provide a modest stipend and give all participants access to our other memory disorder programs.

Who is Eligible to Participate

If you, a family member or loved one is interested, Miami Jewish Health Systems clinical research programs are accepting participants with the following criteria:

  • Individuals with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Individuals age 50 to 90+
  • Individuals must have an involved caregiver
